Penchala Kona,
This is situated at a distace of 50kms from Nellore, and at a distance of 6kms from Gonupalli Village is the place called Penchala Kona.  The God is said to be on of the Navanarasimhas and said to be self stoned.  Kanva Maarshi performed tapasya at this place.  This place is surrounded by mountains and dense jungle.

Narasima Konda
It is 8Kms. From Nellore town. On the hill there is Vedagiri Narasimha Swami Temple. Large Number of devotees participate in Brahmotsavam, in the month of May.

Jonnawada
Situated at a distance of 25kms from Nellore, Jonnawada is abode of Kamakshi Devi.  There is a beautiful temple for Kamakshi Devi at this place.  People believe that if one prays to this goddess, she will relieve you of all the problems and diseases.  It is said that Thikkana, the great author has done yajna here and became a somayaji.  He later wrote the epic of Mahabharata in Telugu.  There are several ruined temples in and around this place.

Ayyappa Swamy Temple
It is situated at Vedayapalem in Nellore town. It is constructed with donations. Daily so many devotees and tourists visit the temple.

Kasumur
There is Masthanvali Durga in this village. Every year ‘URUSU" festival is celebrated. Large number of Muslims participate in this festival. The devotees from other states of the country also visit this place.

Sri Hari Kota
India's one and only Rocket Launching Station is situated at this place.  The place is nearby Sulluripeta.

Udayagiri
Udayagiri was ruled by the Vijayanagara Kings during the 14th Century and they had built a famous fort at the place. The Udayagiri Mountains are famous for its rich and various variety of medicinal shrubs which are available abundantly.  Several people come here in search of these rare medicine herbs.

Venkatagiri
Venkatagiri is famous for a type of hand wooven sarees popularly known by the name of Venkatagiri sarees.  There are two ancient forts at this place.

Tada
The famous union carbide factory is situates at this place.  This is in the border between Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu.

Anumasamdrampeta
There is an ancient mosque in this village it is 11 kms in Atmakur. Every year "URUSU" festival is celebrated , in the name of Khaja Rahamdulla. Many piligrims from several parts of the country visit this place regularly.

Mypadu
It is at a distance of 22kms. From Nellore town. It is a village on the Coastal line. It is having transport facilities. It is famous as a summer resort. There are guest houses also.

Somasila
There is Somasila Anicut on pennar River between Velikonda Hills. There is a famous Sivalayam here.

Pulicot Lake
It is covered between the villages kuridi and pantrangam along 12 kms. Different varieties of birds come from distant places in the month of November.

Nelapattu
It is in Doravarisatram Mandal. There is bird’s sanctuary, every year from October to February and March different variety of birds come from different places.

Shar
It is Sullurpet Mandal, Sriharikota. Sriharikota Rocket launching station is Internationally famous.
